Applications for student membership must be received at least 60 days prior to graduation date.
Plus, upon graduation, IABC student members qualify for 40% off the international membership dues and exemption from the application fee if they join IABC as a Transitional member within one year of their graduation date.
IABC defines student members as:
full-time students of colleges, universities and other educational institutions; or
part-time students working toward a degree, who are not presently engaged in the organizational communication profession in a paid capacity
